Portrait Sessions

We approach each session with the intention of capturing the real interactions between children and family members. The focus is always on fun: if your children are not having fun it will show in the photos.

A session would be either at your home or a local place where you and your children feel comfortable. This makes for a far more relaxed environment, which allows for natural behaviour, resulting in wonderfully real images; stiff, posed shots are just not our thing when it comes to child photography.

Our goal is to capture the moments you take for granted, and to preserve them as unique works of art for you and your family to cherish forever. We want to capture that which makes your child special.  Real emotion makes real and wonderful photographs. We don’t like forced smiles!

Sessions will last a minimum of one hour but we set no maximum time - each session is individual. We love to take photographs wherever you and your child are comfortable. This could be your home, the local park, the beach or anywhere that encourages comfort and play in a relaxed, familiar environment.

Wear what feels right

Ultimately you need to be comfortable! Wear clothes that you like and ones that allow you to be as relaxed and you can in front of the camera.

Selecting your photos

Within two weeks of your session (often sooner), we shall provide you with a private online gallery. This gallery will be available to you (and your friends and family) to select which prints you want and to order extra ones if desired.

Promotional & portfolio photography

If you require portraits for promotional purposes, such as your portfolio or website, we are happy to oblige. We can work with you to achieve the results you want. Please contact us for further information and/or arrange a session.
