Your wedding day is just that, yours! We are happy to cater for both formal and relaxed styles, or a combination of the two. To suit your tastes, your wedding will be documented with honest, unpretentious pictures that capture those special moments. We like simple images, simply done.

If you would like the photographer to remain hidden away we are happy to record your day without interrupting, capturing the events as they unfold. Our aim is to capture the essence of your day. If you prefer a more structured/formal record of the day, we are happy to plan the finer details of each photo with you so that you have an album of shots you really want.

We pay particular attention to the post production, making the shots on the day into pictures that you will want to see again and again. We provide a mixture of colour and black and white photos to suit.

Spontaneity and those special moments

A large part of our wedding photography is our love of capturing those special moments that pass by so quickly and are often forgotten. We strive to preserve those memories - the ones you do remember and the ones you don’t.

Weddings are emotional days and we focus on recording those often unseen moments such as the father’s smile as he helps his daughter from the car, a mother’s tears as she adjusts the bride’s tiara and the nervous and excited grin of a waiting bridegroom.

We are there to record the reassuring looks from the best man to the groom, that first look as the bride enters, the first kiss as husband and wife and the tear-filled eyes of the proud parents.

We can be there to record that first dance and the looks of relief and joy that pass between newly-weds. We pride ourselves on capturing these moments, as they form the essence of your day. Our goal is to help you remember those moments forever.

Whenever possible we shoot with two photographers. This allows for superb coverage of the day. Whilst one may be shooting formal group shots, the other will be shooting reportage of your guests, ensuring that there is a full record of the day’s events. The main advantage of having your wedding shot by two photographers is that we can provide you with a much larger choice of photos than normal, allowing you to create the album you want.

Booking your wedding photography

In the first instance, please feel free to contact us if you have any inquiries. Where necessary we are happy to arrange a meeting at a location of your choice, and can provide printed examples of our work. We feel that it is important to establish a good relationship with our clients, and to ensure that we have the same goals in mind for your big day, so we are happy to meet and discuss your wedding day in a relaxed way.

To secure a booking with us, we require a non-refundable (unless we are unable to attend) deposit of £200. This will ensure that we will take no other bookings for your wedding date. We only ever shoot one wedding on one day, so we are totally devoted to your photos only.

Planning your wedding photography

Once you have booked us to provide your wedding photography, we will provide you with a checklist of must-have photos that we can start to build into a plan for the day. We will also arrange a pre-wedding shoot (if you desire) to practice poses and to finalise any particular shots that you would like on the day. Once we have gathered all of this information we will come up with a schedule for the day. We understand that on your wedding day the last thing you need to worry about is a rigid plan for photographs so we use this more as a guide to keep the photography flowing and so as not to miss that important group shot that cannot easily be repeated.

Selecting your wedding photos

While you are on honeymoon, we will edit your photographs to ensure you get the best possible results to choose from. Within two weeks of your wedding (often sooner), we provide you with a private online gallery. This gallery will be available to you (and your friends and family) to view and select the prints you want, and to order extra prints if desired. Once selected, your prints will be delivered within two weeks. Your online gallery will be available for one year after your wedding day.
